Vision
To improve the society welfare and the city advance based on the spirit Solo as a city of culture.
Mission

To develop and enhance community economy through the development of the real sector, empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises and cooperatives (SMEs) with the facilitation of credit, regulation of street vendors, traditional market revitalization program, improving market trader’s management capabilities and promoting the existence of traditional market and its traders. |

To develop manners, etiquette and Javanese cultural values through the realm of education, exemplary, organization of events and other supported programs.

To strengthen the character of the city with the Javanese accentuation and preserve cultural assets, both tangible and intangible.

To improve service and to expand access to people in education, by employing free school programs, plus schools, community education assistance, development of educational facilities, improving the quality of teachers and education personnel. |

To improve service and to expand community access in health, including the Surakarta Public Health Service (PKMS) program, improving ISO certified health quality, empowering Posyandu Toddlers and Posyandu Elder, improving community nutrition and reduce maternal and infant mortality.
